Can there be anything more beauitiful and noble than a Friesian horse with their Baroque heritage and stunning looks, they are often a magnet for artists and photographers...
Friesians started out as the mounts for knights or noblemen, and were called "destrier", carrying knights into battles, tournaments and jousts.
With my predeliction for Fairytale and the Romantic, it is only fitting that I have a healthy Friesian Fetish also!
I have attended a number of Friesian Horse Inspections over the last 6 years and I am also a provisional Friesian Judge after completing training events with FHAGBI. Friesians are rather special and are certainly not just 'another black horse'... I have my favourites (Eddy from Oxford is my best Friesian buddy) and I am also guilty of creating over 20 Friesian inspired paintings.....
